VMware has launched what it says is the industry’s first unified platform of virtualized compute, networking and storage for the hybrid cloud. The company has also introduced VMware vSphere 6, with 600+ new features, and a new generation of enterprise storage.

Parliament calls for greater use of public sector Cloud

Skyscape Cloud Services Limited has releasedthe findings of its survey ‘Data and Cloud: What Parliamentarians Think’, which gauges attitudes to G-Cloud, the adoption of cloud services in the public sector and issues surrounding data protection and privacy. The survey found that a significant majority of MPs – 82 percent – call for greater use of cloud services in the public sector.
