In 2008 Simon was listed as one of Silicon.com’s most influential IT agenda setters in the world, amongst the likes of Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Steve Jobs and previously worked as a senior scientist in cloud computing at the Qatar Computing Research Institute. In addition to his extensive technical knowledge, Ponsford brings his experience of managing and running software development teams to the role.
