NGD gets a move on with Technimove

Specialist server relocation provider ensures safe migration of customer IT equipment to NGD’s mega data in South Wales.

Next Generation Data (NGD) has announced a partnership with Technimove for providing specialist server migration services to the growing number of corporate and channel partner organisations relocating to its NGD Europe mega data facility in South Wales.

During its 16 year history, London-based Technimove has undertaken some of the most challenging and complex data centre migration projects in the world on behalf of major companies, successfully bridging the gap between the core capabilities of technical services and general relocation companies to deliver bespoke end to end services.

“Technimove’s professionalism and long experience in server migration will enable our customers to mitigate the potential risks of loss or damage when physically relocating existing equipment to NGD Europe which is located conveniently to the M4 motorway and only two hours away from London,” said Chris Williams, Business Director, NGD. “This is a further example of how we strive to make everything as seamless as possible for businesses transitioning to our secure and scalable data centre from facilities that may have become too small, power constrained or expensive to operate.”

Deanne Fuller, Business Executive, Technimove added, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with NGD whose high standards match our own. We are able to offer NGD’s growing number of customers a range of secure door to door IT equipment relocation services from just about anywhere in the world, whether it’s just a few servers or for a complete data hall. Our fully trained, CRB checked staff are highly experienced in server room and data centre environments and backed by Technimove’s own fleet of GPS tracked, air-ride vehicles.”
