Collaboration between Telindus, Cisco ISE and MobileIron

Integrated security that will change Bring Your Own Device landscape.

Surrey-based ICT services company Telindus is working in collaboration with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and MobileIron technology to offer an integrated Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) security solution.

Telindus, an approved supplier of Cisco ISE and MobileIron, is one of a few UK organisations with the skills and experience to enable companies to allow staff to use their own devices at work and protect network security.

BYOD technology is key to the future demands on the workplace. Information technology research and advisory company Gartner recently predicted that half of employers will require employees to supply their own device for work purposes by 2017.

MobileIron UK Director, Alistair Mutch, said: “The BYOD solutions offered by Telindus harnesses MobileIron’s management of mobile apps for business users and Cisco’s ISE technology. It will radically change the BYOD landscape.”

Marek Lowther, Managing Director at Telindus, said: “Telindus is leading the way in the UK in enabling businesses to increase productivity with a single, secure integrated BYOD solution. The collaboration with Cisco and MobileIron will help our customers adopt BYOD policies with confidence.”
Telindus’ ISE Authorised Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco allows the company to sell, configure and support Cisco’s full range of ISE technology. By using MobileIron’s mobile device management and security platform, Telindus' BYOD solution covers “smart” devices to deliver device, document and application security to mobile organisations.

This has allowed Telindus to resolve current business mobility issues, such as multi-OS mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAM), BYOD privacy controls, and mobile data loss prevention (DLP).

Telindus’ collaborative BYOD approach will help companies enable existing employee devices rather than buy new hardware. Recent developments deliver zero-touch IT admin BYOD lifecycle management, which maintains visibility and control of all mobile devices connecting to sensitive data. This provides an additional integrated platform for unified collaboration.
