Cobweb Solutions is named Microsoft UK partner of the Year Finalist 2013

Cobweb Solutions, Europe’s largest hosted exchange provider, has been nominated as a finalist for Microsoft UK Partner of the Year Award 2013. The nomination means that Cobweb is ranked in the top 3 out of 60,000 UK partners for the tech giant.

With over 3,000 submissions for 44 different awards, the annual awards honour Microsoft partners for delivering innovative solutions during the past year that work to solve the most pressing technology challenges facing customers.

Winners will be presented with their awards at the Microsoft World Partner Conference next month.

Mark Davies, Cobweb’s Sales and Marketing Director, says, “We are proud to have been recognised by Microsoft UK, based on the impact of our solutions in the marketplace as well as our commitment to helping our customers do business more easily and productively.

“Cobweb were the first company in Europe (and one of the first globally) to launch the latest Microsoft Exchange 2013 technology as a hosted service for businesses. To be picked as a finalist from the whole of the UK for our entire cloud-based services to businesses is fantastic.”

Only 5 per cent of Microsoft Partners worldwide can distinguish themselves as having a Microsoft ‘competency’ rating, and Cobweb has ‘Gold’ status in both Microsoft’s Hosting and Messaging categories. The company also has one of only a small number of worldwide MVPs (Microsoft Most Valued Professionals) and a range of qualified MCPs (Microsoft Certified Professionals) as part of its team.

This summer the new Microsoft® Lync® 2013 will be launched by Cobweb. This service enables users to communicate securely anywhere from any device. The new Lync provides more flexibility and cost-effectiveness than ever before.
