Jo Haigh was the Peel Hunt and Sunday Times NED of the Year 2012 and has joined the Warwickshire-headquartered business to help develop key growth opportunities in the business continuity and information security market.
George Hall, director at Jermyn Consulting said: “We have been incredibly successful since we launched in 2000. We have developed our business continuity and information security services in a range of markets including IT services, banking, finance and insurance and Higher Education.
“More businesses than ever recognise the need to have solid business continuity and information security plans in place. We have helped some of the UK’s leading organisations future proof their businesses by guiding them through the process and, in many cases, helping them achieve accreditation to recognised international standards.
“The last year has seen us consolidate our services, expand into new markets and develop new products we can deliver to the high standard our clients demand.
“The time is now right to further develop our products and services and to roll these out to new markets. By working with Jo, we are making sure that our business is in the best shape it can be to make these strategic moves.
“What we do we do well, but after a while you need someone with particular skills and expertise to help you make the next leap forward. Jo comes highly recommended and we believe her experience and independence will bring fresh focus so that we can move the business on to a new level.”
Jo Haigh said: “Jermyn Consulting is at the forefront of contingency planning and information security. It is a business with great potential and I hope to be a part of the team for some time to come.
“I aim to provide the external perspective on new initiatives and internal issues that are vital to businesses ready for growth.”
“I am incredibly excited to be working with Jermyn Consulting and intend to provide them with support, advice and an independent voice to challenge and develop them as a company”.
