Logistics for Canary Wharf

NG Bailey’s IT Services division has opened a new logistics centre in Canary Wharf, London, to facilitate pre-staging of projects.

The new, larger logistics centre will enable NG Bailey to provide improved operational efficiencies for clients. A full suite of testing will take place at the new centre, including pre-staging, witness and factory acceptance for electronic security and local area network deployments.

The logistics centre has already been successfully used for one of NG Bailey’s recent London-based projects, which involved a network being FAT tested.
Lee Eiffert, regional operations manager, said: “The logistics centre allows us to pre-stage technical and complex projects in one location. It also enables our customers to witness test their systems before on-site installation begins and provides us with the ability to consolidate stock for projects, increasing our efficiency.”
