The contract was won through a highly competitive tender process. Redcentric was selected to provide a full Wide Area Network (WAN) by delivering network services to over 1000 locations from which the charity delivers its mission.

The initiative will enable the charity’s staff to connect to a MPLS network providing not only secure access to internal services, but also providing services for the community using a variety of corporate systems and safe internet access.

Martyn Croft, CIO of The Salvation Army UK and Republic of Ireland Territory sees the importance of the network in helping to serve The Salvation Army mission, and recently commented on the “importance of this initiative in creating a ‘connected army’ able to help the people it serves.”

Fraser Fisher, COO of Redcentric, commented: “We are delighted to have been selected to work with such a prestigious charity. As experts in delivering a wide range of network solutions, we have the proven capability to support all of the client’s network requirements.”
