FUJIFILM UK Ltd. has announced the launch of its HQ-Pro Series 2.5-inch 7.0mm Solid State Drive (SSD). Available in four capacities, 60GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, the FUJIFILM HQ-Pro Series features 19nm MLC NAND, designed to meet the needs of the most data-intensive, content demanding and energy-sensitive professional systems.


“With predictions for global shipments of SSD rising year on year fuelled by an increasingly mobile world, real life testing has proven that our ‘best in class’ products are consistently outperforming our competitors, especially when it comes to sequential read and write performance,” said Ruth Senna, Senior Product Manager, FUJIFILM UK Ltd. “Professional users of HD video, high speed back-up and data streaming can take advantage of the reliability and durability of our HQ-Pro Series SSD’s which have been specially configured to meet the high volume write capacities needed in the continually developing high definition video and industrial world,” she added.


The high speed read/write performance, solid construction, low power consumption and heat generation make FUJIFILM’s SSD HQ-Pro Series particularly well-suited to in-flight entertainment, security surveillance and data streaming applications.
