Hammer, the dedicated storage distributor, is celebrating the first anniversary of its Registered Disk Partner programme.

Designed to give customers a superior level of support to complement Hammer’s comprehensive disk portfolio; and in collaboration with disk vendors HGST, Seagate, Toshiba and Western Digital, the programme means that registered customers have access to benefits including advance replacement drives, full integration and configuration services, early product and market updates, priority stock allocation, engineering and ‘design-in’ support consultancy, plus much more. Over 400 customers have signed up since the programme’s launch in September 2013.

Hammer is the number one distributor in Europe for enterprise and AV drives, and sells into over 25 countries.

Now, following on from a very successful debut year and an exciting promotion which saw 12 registered partners win a space on a 3-night VIP trip to the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this year, Hammer has launched ‘Awesome Autumn’ – including a fun online game, ‘Hammer Time’ – to enable registered partners to win prizes and beat their colleagues’ scores on the online leaderboard.

In September, October and November, prizes can be won by either purchasing drives through Hammer and earning points, or by achieving a high score in the online game; beginning with 25 iPad Minis to be won in September. Further prize details will be unveiled monthly.

Nick Powling, Disk General Manager at Hammer, says: “We are thrilled with how the Registered Disk Partner scheme has made such an impact on our customers, both new and existing, in the space of only one year. Myself and the team of disk specialists here at Hammer are constantly speaking to customers who do not receive the level of service they expect from their distributor when it comes to disk. When they realise Hammer’s abilities, and the added benefits of becoming a Registered Disk Partner with us, they are often surprised at how much more they can accomplish by working with Hammer.”

He continued: “In merging our disk vendors’ knowledge with our renowned capabilities, we are seeing evidence directly from customers that Hammer is providing the ultimate value-add disk offering.”
