Digital Realty appoints Bernard Geoghegan Managing Director, EMEA and Asia Pacific

Digital Realty Trust, Inc. has announced the appointment of Bernard Geoghegan to Managing Director, EMEA and Asia Pacific. Mr. Geoghegan is taking over leadership of the Asia Pacific region from Kris Kumar, who has resigned from the position of Senior Vice President & Regional Head, Asia Pacific.

"Bernard is a well-respected figure in the international data centre industry and has a depth of experience that is unmatched in our industry," said A. William Stein, Interim Chief Executive Office and Chief Financial Officer. "We are confident that he will continue the momentum Kris has established in the region, and ensure Digital Realty's ongoing leadership position across our growing international platform."


"Kris has been instrumental in leading the expansion of our Asia Pacific portfolio into Australia, Hong Kong, and most recently, Japan," added Mr. Stein.
