Cognia appoints former Goldman Sachs partner as chairman

The leading provider of cloud communications intelligence solutions, Cognia, has appointed former Goldman Sachs partner, Simon Mansfield, as chairman of its board of directors. Mansfield joins as Cognia continues to rollout its growth strategy to help the company become a major force in the global market for cloud communications data recording, PCI compliance and analytics.

Following a successful career with Goldman Sachs, Simon was more recently appointed as an Investment Advisor to Oxford Capital, and manages an international portfolio of private and public equity, bonds and venture capital investments through his firm SM Investments. A former partner at Goldman Sachs, Mansfield was co-head of the European Special Situations Group (ESSG), responsible for proprietary investments including a large portfolio of turnaround, venture capital and private equity investments throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
