Helping enterprises to enter an all-agile era

Huawei has launched its Cloud Fabric Solution and Agile Branch Solution at the Huawei Western Europe Enterprise Media Day 2014 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Huawei’s Agile Branch Solution, which is centered on services and user experience, helps enterprise customers achieve one-click deployment, zero-touch local maintenance, and openness and value-added service (VAS). Meanwhile Huawei’s Cloud Fabric Data Center Network Solution uses an industry-leading architecture that is elastic, simple, and open, giving enterprises the ability to innovate and adapt to fast-changing cloud services.

Also at the media conference, Huawei, together with its European customers, shared details of the successful application cases of its Agile Network Solution and showcased the significant business value the Agile Network presents to enterprise customers. Huawei is dedicated to assisting its global customers in addressing all challenges which they may be faced with during ICT transformation with the leading Agile Network.

"Since its rollout in 2013, Huawei's Agile Network Solution has been deployed on more than 350 commercial networks across seven industries: government, finance, healthcare, large enterprise, transportation, education, and media and entertainment. It has helped customers to build multiple high-profile solutions such as intelligent transport, wireless cities, smart shopping malls, and smart travel," said Leon Wang, Vice President of the Switch & Enterprise Communications Product Line. "As the core of the Agile Network architecture, Huawei's Agile Controller is developed on open architecture and is capable of seamlessly connecting to customers' current service systems, significantly enhancing users' service experience and accelerating new service provisioning."

Hand in hand with its global customers, Huawei has been helping them to improve operational efficiency and productivity while lowering infrastructure deployment complexity by leveraging Huawei's innovative Agile Network Solution. With the large-scale commercial deployment of the Agile Network, Huawei has aided a growing number of global enterprises to achieve rapid service innovation and provisioning, greatly improving their communication and O&M efficiency as well as enabling them to quickly adapt to the changing markets.

At the conference, Henk van Raan, Director Facility Management / New Business Development of Amsterdam ArenA, the largest stadium in the Netherlands, told attendees about the innovative value brought to the venue by Huawei’s Agile Stadium Solution. This solution currently serves several well-known European football clubs, such as Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, and FC Schalke 04.

By leveraging its industry-leading Wi-Fi technologies, Huawei's Agile Stadium Solution is able to connect tens of thousands of spectators within a stadium. Such agile connection deeply integrates IT services into the stadium's businesses and delivers VAS, such as location-based precise information pushing and parking navigation. The spectators can connect to the Wi-Fi network in real time for Video on Demand (VoD) and video playback, as well as a variety of online interactions and socializing activities, so they don’t miss any exciting moments. Service innovation and development based on the Wi-Fi network means the stadium operator sees a high return on investment. Moreover, Huawei's Agile Stadium Solution can identify user information and service content, capable of allocating more network and service resources to serve high-value customers and further create more commercial profits for the stadium operator.
