Arrow offers Oracle Cloud Services globally, adding Oracle applications to ArrowSphere

Arrow Electronics, Inc. has added Oracle Cloud services to Arrow’s distribution offerings globally. Oracle is offering their cloud services through the channel to “broaden its market reach and help its partner community extend their own opportunities and revenue potential with the cloud.”

“Given Arrow’s long-standing, global relationship with Oracle, we are delighted to deliver Oracle cloud solutions to our North American solution provider community,” said Sean Kerins, president of Arrow’s global enterprise computing solutions business. “Our goal is to create the industry’s most compelling cloud offering, and this agreement represents a significant addition for solution providers seeking to move up the ‘stack.’ This addition aligns well to our strategy to provide a robust cloud portfolio, including SaaS solutions that address key business needs.”

Through the global agreement, Arrow will offer Oracle’s applications, cloud programs and enablement services through the ArrowSphere cloud services platform.
“There are many corners of the market and globe Oracle simply cannot reach. Our success relies on our partners’ ability to sell and implement Oracle Cloud services in the broad market. For this very reason, we continue to invest more resources in helping partners maximize their cloud-based opportunities, in turn, extending the opportunities for our customers,” said Bruce Chumley, group vice president, worldwide alliances and channels, distribution channels, Oracle. “The addition of Oracle Cloud services to Oracle’s VAD distribution offerings will not only help extend our reach, but also give both our reseller partners and our customers the chance to work with skilled cloud experts in their local markets. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

ArrowSphere connects solution and managed service providers and independent software vendors globally with an ever-growing portfolio of leading-edge cloud services. The platform features customizable webstores through which solution providers can present Arrow-authorized cloud offerings, as well as their own, to customers. It also facilitates centralizing billing and provisioning.
