VCCP keeps it in the cloud with Aurora365

VCCP proves that monitoring is one of the smartest things to put in the cloud.

VCCP, the international full service communications agency, has safeguarded its IT infrastructure with Aurora365. Aurora365 simplifies detection, diagnosis and resolution of infrastructure issues before outages occur, to eliminate downtime. VCCP is working with Aurora365 to ensure optimal performance across their entire infrastructure, including their network, servers, network traffic and network configuration.

Consistently ranked in the top 10 UK advertising agencies, VCCP is at the forefront of creativity. This visionary thinking runs throughout the company with the organisation committed towards driving as much IT infrastructure burden as possible to the cloud.

VCCP’s cloud adoption roadmap means they will go cloud whenever it makes sense. Anthony Shaw, Head of IT for VCCP comments, “Aurora365’s infrastructure monitoring and management has proved to be one of the smartest areas we have placed in the cloud. It provides us with an independent viewpoint of availability that alerts you if the lights go out after hours or at the weekend.”

Anthony continues, “With Aurora365 we have benefited from a modern, robust platform which monitors as well as manages our infrastructure in equal measure. Before embarking on this project we researched our various deployment options. Initially we looked at deploying on a standalone server; but given the powerful nature of the platform we then looked to implement the system onto one of our big virtualised clusters. However, we quickly realised, that this is the very equipment being monitored! Hence cloud was the obvious option.”

Anthony concludes, “Finally, simple and direct monitoring - i.e. monitoring that tells you when things are broken. Aurora365's proactive monitoring technology detects issues before they happen and fixes them in real-time. This is imperative to us working in the 24/7 “always-on” media industry where our users expect everything just to work. To this end, Aurora has not only provided peace of mind but has also given us real insight into our operations and how our infrastructure is actually being used.”

“We’re delighted to be working with such a visionary creative organisation as VCCP, comments Dominic List, Aurora365’s Chairman. "Given this ethos, Aurora is well suited to VCCP to offer innovative monitoring and management to safeguard their environment and guarantee uptime for their media-savvy users. Like the majority of our customers, having a cloud-based infrastructure monitoring solution in place makes particular sense, as it can also scale to protect their businesses as they grow.”
