OCZ’s comprehensive enterprise-class SATA and PCIe-based SSDs accelerate business applications and I/O access delivering leading sustained performance and consistent latency responses. Included at WHD.global 2015 will be a ‘sneak peak’ of OCZ’s next-generation NVMe-compliant Z-Drive 6000 PCIe SSD Series scheduled for general availability in Q2 2015. Each series model is a native PCIe 3.0 NVMe 1.1b solution designed in an easy-to-deploy 2.5-inch form factor that not only delivers extremely high performance and near-zero latency, but also features a hot-pluggable SFF-8639 connector for easy deployment and superior serviceability. The Z-Drive 6000 Series will be available in usable storage capacities ranging from 800GB up to 6.4TB.
Additional enterprise solutions presented at this year’s WHD.global event includes:
· Z-Drive 4500 PCIe SSD Series: OCZ’s mainstream PCIe-based series that leverages 19nm MLC NAND flash memory and usable capacities up to 3.2TB. The series supports a Full-Height/Half-Length format and delivers leading performance and a robust architectural design with a priority on data reliability and drive endurance.
· Intrepid 3000 SATA SSD Series: OCZ’s mainstream SATA-based series that leverages the latest 19nm MLC NAND flash memory and delivers its fastest and largest capacity SATA III SSDs to date. The recently announced Intrepid 3700 includes usable storage capacities up to 1,920GB maintaining attractive cost per GB price points.
· Saber 1000 SATA SSD Series: OCZ’s SATA-based series designed specifically for read-intensive applications targeting high-volume deployment hyperscale, web-hosting and distributed computing environments. It leverages the latest A19nm MLC NAND flash memory and is available in usable storage capacities up to 960GB.
· ZD-XL SQL Accelerator: OCZ’s specialized solution optimized for Microsoft SQL Server applications that leverages the Z-Drive 4500 hardware with application-tuned software to deliver accelerated application performance and low latency enabling the flash to be deployed as a local flash volume, a flash cache for HDD volumes or as a combination of both.
In addition to OCZ’s enterprise product showcase, Christian Groll, EMEA Sales Director, will present a conference session on Server-side Flash and its industry impact. Server-side Flash is fundamental in the acceleration of performance-critical applications. Within the next two years, it will experience a radical change in both technology and market share. Mr. Groll’s presentation addresses how customers use Server-side Flash today and its impact on the NVMe specification. The session is entitled, “Server-side Flash: basics, use cases, outlook” and will be presented at Room Bellevue, Europa-Park, on Wednesday, March 25th at 2:25 pm.
