Spectra Logic, the deep storage experts, has unveiled its new EMEA corporate headquarters in the UK. The move to a new location in Bracknell, which incorporates a self-contained, fully functional Customer Experience Centre, comes in response to continued company growth.
Chief Sales Officer, Brian Grainger, discusses the reason for the move, “Organisations across Europe continue to generate and rely on ever-expanding amounts of data and our solutions are ideal to meet this growth cost effectively. As a result our team has nearly doubled in size and our reseller and customer base have also grown considerably. The number of countries we are selling into and the related support such as sales, inside sales, service, professional services and management has also increased. The new headquarters supports all of EMEA with a training centre and a Spectra Technology Centre – a place where customers and partners can use our technology in addition to getting technical service and sales training.”
The design for the open-floor plan facility incorporated the input of employees and is consequently match-fit for a number of activities involving customers, professional services, partners, distributors and their teams.
Apart from the office and conference centre, the new facilities include a hot desk zone, sales training areas and Demo Centre - a key benefit for customers and resellers who can see the entire range of products, enabling them to ‘try before they buy,’ conducting tests and evaluation on-site, without having to transport units to their own sites.
From a distribution standpoint, bringing resellers on board is now a smoother and more versatile process, as it can be done off of their premises, demonstrating equipment in the Customer Experience Centre. Resellers can bring in technology partners and other vendors on-site to put together the complete solution. Spectra Logic can host end-users, resellers and distributors right the way through the life-cycle of the channel.
Grainger concludes, “The new EMEA headquarters will allow us to facilitate our infrastructure and growth projections over the next three to five years – which takes care of today as well as growth expectations for tomorrow.”
