Spectra Logic granted 100th industry patent

Spectra Logic’s patent portfolio covers various aspects of hardware, software and entire library systems. The portfolio primarily covers general technology innovation, with a concentration on recognised advancements in hardware and software directed to Spectra’s deep storage products.

While the majority of Spectra Logic’s patents are utility patents, the most recent two were for design. The 99th patent recognises the visual design of Spectra® Verde disk appliance and the100th patent, U.S. Patent No. D72, 922, protects the unique aesthetic design of Spectra Logic’s BlackPearl Deep Storage Gateway.
