Exponential-e launches automated channel cloud portal

CloudPort delivers easy access to innovative cloud & network solution portfolio.

Exponential-e has launched its first ever channel cloud pricing portal. Branded CloudPort, it provides the channel with a platform for the pricing and ordering of cloud and networking services that ensures partners and resellers have the resources to progress sales. Through the portal, the channel will have access to live quotation tracking that delivers price protection to partners.

Open for usage to channel partners on the 14th December 2015, CloudPort provides complete integration into Exponential-e’s product portfolio and carrier-class network. This means Exponential-e’s suite of enterprise cloud services, such as cloud compute, storage, server replication, colocation, online backup, SIP, internet and networking circuits, will be available to its valued channel partners.

“CloudPort is a game-changer in cloud service delivery for the channel,” comments Lee Wade, CEO of Exponential-e. “We are always looking for new ways to break boundaries and work with our partner community to create solutions and propositions that not only complement and enhance their own service offering, but meet their customers’ needs too.”

With spending on cloud computing infrastructure expected to grow by 21 per cent year over year to $32 billion in 2015, CloudPort will empower partners to meet growing customer demand for cloud services. Channel partners will be able to seamlessly tap into Exponential-e’s cloud solution portfolio, in order to build and order a range of solutions demanded by their customers.

Ahead of the go-live date, Exponential-e is hosting a briefing session, offering channel partners the opportunity to hear more about CloudPort and how to benefit from it. This event will take place on Tuesday 8th December at 10:30am and places have been allocated on a first-come, first served basis.

Michala Hart, Head of Channel Strategy of Exponential-e commented: “CloudPort is an exciting step forward in enabling our channel partners to drive more business opportunities from the cloud. CloudPort provides a service creation platform for our partners providing them with the tools to create, price and order solutions tailored to meet their customer’s needs. We will work with our partners to incorporate additional functionality into this new automated portal in the coming year. The portal will continue to evolve providing new solutions and services to our partners, facilitating innovation.”
