Data centre specialist launches new identity to celebrate 15 years in business

Data centre specialist MIGSOLV has entered its fifteenth business year, marking the milestone by launching a distinctive new company identity and web site.

Founder Alex Rabbetts established the company – initially known as Migration Solutions - in 2002 as the only UK consultancy practice focused exclusively on data centre environments. The company rapidly evolved to become global experts in providing data centre advice.
In 2010, the company acquired The Gatehouse as its own commercial data centre and, in doing so, changed its name to MIGSOLV.
Two purpose-built buildings on a nine-acre site in Norwich, The Gatehouse was originally developed by Norwich Union in the early 1990s as its internal computing facility. MIGSOLV stripped the buildings back to their bare walls and completely redesigned them, reopening The Gatehouse in 2011 as a highly secure commercial data centre.
In early 2016, MIGSOLV added a range of highly flexible, secure Cloud computing services to its portfolio. Designed for businesses large and small, these include Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud options.
Marking its fifteenth year, MIGSOLV’s new visual identity is based on a bold logo and a set of colourful icons and patterns.
Its new web site explains MIGSOLV’s full range of services in simple, non-technical terms and the sectors the company has the most experience in supporting. It also includes a blog where people can see the directors’ views and advice.
Alex Rabbetts, MIGSOLV Founder & CEO, says: “Having entered our fifteenth year, we’re proud to be able to look back at how far our business has grown in breadth and reputation. We’ve evolved from a specialist consultancy by opening one of the world’s most secure commercial data centres and launching a powerful range of Cloud services. And there are certainly many more exciting developments ahead of us.
“Introducing a fresh company identity and web site seemed a perfect way to mark this business milestone. Our bold new logo and vibrant colours are completely different from the stuffy, corporate style of most companies in our industry. They reflect the friendly, down-to-earth approach we take in helping companies look after their business-critical data - and our determination to deliver the best customer service in the business.”
