Bright extends partnership with Huawei in EMEA

Bright Computing, the leading provider of hardware-agnostic cluster and cloud management software, is developing a close collaboration with Huawei across EMEA.

Huawei, ranked 228th on the Global Fortune 500 based on its revenue in 2014, is a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solution provider. Bright published a partnership agreement with Huawei in 2014.  Since then, the two companies have been working together to provide Huawei customers with enhanced HPC management solutions.
Since 2014, the relationship with Huawei in EMEA has steadily grown, with the signing of a growing number of customers across the region, including customers in Russia and Turkey.  So far in 2016, Bright Computing has supported Huawei on the second largest booth at CeBIT in Germany, at the Huawei HCC Europe Summit in Prague; and now at ISC in Frankfurt.
Huawei is investing heavily in Europe, both in terms of marketing - including significant sponsorship of events and conferences - and in terms of research and development – as evident by their new research facilities in France and Germany.  Bright is engaged with Huawei’s Enterprise Business Unit, and together the companies are targeting common resellers across EMEA to highlight the value of a combined solution.
Huawei and Bright’s strategy is to address the HPC market, as well as the DevOps and hybrid infrastructure markets.
Clemens Engler, Business Development Director at Bright Computing, commented; “I'm deeply impressed by Huawei; not only their strong go-to-market efforts, but also their product portfolio and their adaption to customer needs as a result of their strong R&D focus.  In the main, Bright and Huawei both operate an indirect sales model, so our companies are well suited to do business together via our common partners."
Jaco Pesschier, Senior Channel Sales Manager, Huawei West Europe Enterprise Business, commented; “Huawei places win-win collaboration at the heart of our business in Europe. We’re committed to building a partner ecosystem which enables end-users to make the most of new ICT to become leaders in their markets. As our relationship with Bright Computing grows we look forward to a productive and optimistic future working together.”
