Dell Cloud Flex Pay enables hybrid cloud deployments without upfront investment

Dell Financial Services launches Cloud Flex Pay, allowing businesses to deploy hybrid cloud environments without making large upfront payments.

Dell Financial Serviceshas introduced EMEA availability of its Cloud Flex Pay service, a new financing solution designed to allow companies to trial a hybrid cloud infrastructure before making the decision to invest long-term. The service allows businesses to test the benefits of a world class hybrid cloud offering while remaining flexible on continued deployment.
The choice of public, private, or hybrid cloud is a direct reflection of a business’ strategy, priorities and needs. Currently, customers looking to deploy a cloud environment can quickly and affordably take advantage of public cloud solutions. However, many organisations want to take advantage of the cloud, but are not ready to go all in on public cloud and turn to hybrid cloud solutions. Deploying a hybrid cloud strategy can be a step-by-step journey and to cost-effectively evaluate the benefits of a hybrid cloud solution, these businesses need a service that will allow them to test the benefits of the solution, without a large initial investment.
Dell’s Cloud Flex Pay enables organisations to operate a Dell Hybrid Cloud System for Microsoft environment for a six month period at a reduced trial fee. Following this period, IT teams have the option to return the technology with no further commitment if it is not suitable for their needs, or invest in the infrastructure. With this flexibility, organisations can reduce the risk associated with the deployment.
In addition to offering a flexible payment solution, Cloud Flex Pay delivers benefits such as:
·         The ability to build a customised payment plan to fit current and future budget and usage requirements
·         Ease of capacity expansion to handle fluctuating data demands
·         Regulation of the technology deployment and management costs

“Our goal is to provide customers with a choice by offering an open, flexible, end-to-end and modular approach – no matter where they are in their cloud journey,” explained Cormac Costelloe, vice president and general manager, Dell Financial Services, EMEA. “It’s important that customers have the option to test which cloud solution is right for their needs, without worrying about the cost. With Cloud Flex Pay, we’re able to remove financial barriers and help customers to realise the benefits of hybrid cloud first-hand.”
