StorPool’s high-performance, cost-efficient block storage software helps public and private cloud builders provide organisations with a fast, reliable and affordable service. Since it was established in 2011, the vendor has secured numerous customers worldwide and continues to realise its ambitious growth plans.

Head-quartered in Stockport in the UK and founded in 2015, Vesper Technologies sees this partnership with StorPool as a natural fit with its core business. Vesper Technologies has built its business to exploit the emergence of software-defined technologies. Already, it has found that offering customers bespoke systems has given it a competitive edge, rapidly winning new business and broadening its customer base in UK and Europe. The software Vesper Technologies sources like StorPool’s, allows standard commodity x86 servers to be used to run the storage software without the cost associated with expensive SAN or flash arrays.

Allan Kaye, Managing Director at Vesper Technologies, explains: “As well as offering traditional solutions, we are passionate about the benefits of and the transition to the software-defined data centre. StorPool’s block storage software is an ideal addition to our portfolio. We have built our company around supporting and guiding our customers through the rapidly-evolving and complex world of IT infrastructure and StorPool’s technology will add value to our propositions by helping our customers to save money while enjoying robust storage performance.”

Boyan Ivanov, CEO at StorPool, added: “Vesper Technologies was selected by StorPool for its commitment to software-defined storage, its successful track record in growing market share in the cloud hosting sector, and because of its knowledge of the UK market.  We select resellers with a strong understanding of both the market trends and customer’s needs so that they can really get to grips with what we deliver for end-users - affordable and high performance data storage. Vesper Technologies has all the right credentials to help us achieve even more for cloud enterprises in Europe by being among the most proactive resellers in the SDS field in the region.”
