Carrenza, a cloud service provider and Six Degrees Group company, has been accredited as an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Consulting Partner in the UK.

Carrenza has many years of experience in running and supporting secure clouds for a wide range of organisations.  It now offers fully trained and accredited AWS solution architects, alongside support and operational teams, ready to help design, build, run and support infrastructure in the AWS cloud.

Founded in 2001, Carrenza is a provider of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud services for hosting mission-critical applications and websites for customers spanning the public, private and third sectors. Private sector customers include Selfridges Group with de Bijenkorf, Majestic Wine and Fourth. A strong third sector presence includes household names like WWF and AgeUK. Carrenza is also an OFFICIAL provider of secure PSN connected cloud services on the G-Cloud framework and has an expanding public sector base that includes Government Digital Service (GDS), the Cabinet Office and Public Health England.

As well as supporting existing AWS environments, Carrenza offers IT solution consultancy and design, taking full advantage of all the AWS features. The Carrenza AWS team can help provision cloud environments in AWS, be a supporting team or build the entire environment.

“We are delighted to be working closely with AWS to help customers build their public or hybrid platforms on this incredibly popular infrastructure,” explained Matthew McGrory, Managing Director of Carrenza. “Our experience in designing and building cloud services will be ideal for organisations who want to draw on the benefits offered from the AWS public cloud platform.”

“Carrenza has a long track record of delivering highly successful enterprise cloud solutions, and the addition of AWS to their partner portfolio will give customers the confidence to invest in public cloud,” commented Campbell Williams, Group Strategy and Marketing Director of Six Degrees Group.
