“We are committed to helping MSPs efficiently and effectively run their business with our high-performing, affordable platform,” said Gil Pekelman, CEO at Atera. “Ransomware attacks are on the rise, making it more important than ever to streamline our patch management system so that the customers of our MSP users are secure. As the business and security needs of MSPs evolve, Atera is closely monitoring feedback to add new features and updates each month. With November’s upgrade, Atera has simplified and enhanced its patch management, IT automation, and scripting deployment. We have also added a new notification centre and boosted our reporting system—making it even easier for MSPs to safeguard their customers with the latest and most secure technology.”

The enhancements to Atera’s platform enable MSPs to meet the challenges that the ransomware epidemic has introduced into the industry. Atera is addressing their needs through its IT automation for faster reporting, improvements to the patch management system, and additional scripting opportunities. The new platform capabilities provide comprehensive reports, automated email communications, and virus protection through its integration of Webroot antivirus to ensure secure and successful implementation and monitoring. The increased performance and faster reporting help MSPs validate that both scheduled and on-demand tasks have been fulfilled.

Atera has also created a new notification centre for increased communications and engagement opportunities. This includes new back-end features for improved synchronisation of information. Overall, the new features are creating a smoother experience for Atera users and their customers.

MSPs utilising Atera’s platform will benefit from the following added features and functionality:
·         New patch management and IT automation capabilities that simplify the process of implementing patches, scripts, and IT automation actions
·         Automatically generated email reports for MSPs regarding the status of patches, scripts and IT automation actions
·         A new in-app script editor for creating, editing, and running scripts within the Atera platform
·         Improved engagement and communications through the new notification centre

MSPs worldwide are excited about the platform enhancements and the level of service they receive from Atera as described in the quotes below.

“The Atera RMM functions and updates have been crucial in allowing us to respond to and solve customer issues quickly, no matter what the time or where our technicians might be located,” said Parker Ledbetter, president at Computer Geeks, and an Atera partner. Having no limitations on the number of agents we can install gives us total access and control over all our monitored devices. This allows us to triage any issue quickly and effectively. From patch management and scripting to threshold alerts and remote desktop control, Atera has us covered.”

“As a medium-sized MSP, our technicians’ time is extremely valuable, so we require a sophisticated set of PSA functions, which Atera is able to provide,” said Russ Gordon, owner at RG Digital, and an Atera partner.  “Atera takes the headache out of managing both technicians and their tasks, such as ticketing, time capturing, and billing. With Atera’s on-point and accessible Help Desk system, we never miss a customer request. Atera makes it very simple for us to update different rates on tickets, and at the end of the month, we save a lot of time in preparing the monthly bills.”
