DigiPlex strengthens leadership team

To answer increased market interest and customer inflow and as a part of its continued growth, DigiPlex, the Nordic leader in innovative and sustainable data centres, has announced a series of executive leadership changes, effective immediately.

As part of our growth strategy we take constant steps to recalibrate and optimise our organisation. Today’s announcements represent instrumental steps we are taking to drive the next phase of DigiPlex’s growth”, says Gisle M. Eckhoff, CEO at DigiPlex.
 
-       Halvor Bjerke, formerly Operations Director Norway, has been appointed Head of Operations and will lead DigiPlex’s award-winning operation teams across all company sites. Halvor joined DigiPlex in August 2017, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the IT Services, data centre and cloud industry, having previously held senior leadership roles at Cap Gemini, Amedia Technology & DNB. Directly before joining DigiPlex he held responsibility for IBM’s Cloud Services in Norway as Data Centre manager for IBM Cloud. 
 
-       DigiPlex also announced that Fredrik Jansson will, in addition to his current role as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, also become the company’s first Chief Strategy Officer. In his new position, Fredrik is responsible for defining and overseeing all aspects of the company’s corporate strategy and go-to-market positioning. Fredrik joined DigiPlex in October 2016, and under his leadership DigiPlex has received recognition for a rapid marketing and communications transformation, earning finalists positions in several industry awards including “Marketing Team of the Year” and “Communications Team of the Year”. Fredrik joined DigiPlex from Tata Consultancy Services where he served as Chief Brand Officer for 21 European markets.
 
Other changes in the Executive Leadership include Dan Oldham, DigiPlex Chief Operating Officer, who in addition to further developing and ensuring the highest quality and service delivery for key clients, now will also take on the responsibility of further professionalising the company’s pre-sales efforts, and Daniel Joyce, the company’s Chief Development Officer, is assuming increased coordination responsibilities for the company’s Stockholm site.
