Colt expands cloud offerings with Oracle FastConnect

Colt Technology Services to drive secure, reliable, low latency and high bandwidth connectivity to the Oracle Cloud.

Colt Technology Services will offer dedicated cloud connectivity services to Oracle Cloud through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect.

This relationship will allow customers to utilize Colt’s Dedicated Cloud Access (DCA) to offer highly secure and reliable private network connectivity to Oracle Cloud. This means that organizations can establish public cloud connectivity from their data center, office or colocation environment, which helps drive cost efficiencies, increase bandwidth throughput, and provide a low latency and more consistent network experience than Internet-based connections.

Customers will also benefit from reliable access to their cloud data and applications via the Colt IQ Network, which reaches more than 850 data centers and over 27,000 enterprise buildings globally, connected via Colt-owned fiber. This enables improved performance, enhanced control, flexibility, and scalability that can provide access to critical business data and functions.

“As more and more businesses turn to cloud service providers to power their digital transformations, security, availability and resiliency of the network are critical to today’s business operations,” said Peter Coppens, Vice President Product Portfolio, Colt Technology Services.

“It’s for this reason that we are delighted to be an Oracle FastConnect partner as part of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, to provide customers with a superior cloud networking experience that is vital for the fast-paced environment of today.”
