As a strategic IT partner and Managed Service provider, Espria has been engaged in numerous high-level strategic projects to enhance its business processes and IT infrastructure. To maximise the cost savings of their IT license investment, the firm sought out Espria to upgrade and streamline the distribution of devices and applications.

Andrew Lashley, Chief Client Officer at Espria noted, “Edmond Shipway wanted to optimise their IT licence investment to reduce costs by simplifying the distribution of devices and applications to all employees, whether remote or on-site. Additionally, they needed greater resilience for sharing, storing and backing-up their data, substantial format CAD designs and other architectural plans. This required enormous amounts of space and scalability to remove all on-premise storage and core infrastructure”.

Espria proposed a Microsoft and LucidLink solution that could lower IT running costs while optimising licences, granting additional features, boosting user experiences, performance, and flexibility. Although all users had the same permits, each had distinct user needs so the Espria Solutions Architects assessed their requirements to determine who required what and when in order to establish a deployment timeline.

Adam Fyfe, IT Manager at Edmond Shipway commented, “Edmond Shipway and Espria have a long and well-established partnership which has enabled a collaborative approach to the evolution of our IT infrastructure. In this project, due to their knowledge of our business and our requirements, they were able to offer solutions that would not only meet our needs now and into the future, but also our budget requirements. I’m delighted with the way the project progressed; both consultants were highly knowledgeable and prompt in answering any queries. I’d be delighted to work with them again. Feedback from the business has also been excellent.

With the enhanced licence capabilities, we can now work more efficiently. LucidLink was implemented to ensure data was secure, accessible, and backed up in the cloud, significantly reducing the business risk of data loss. InTune deployment and upgrade capabilities allowed for remote accessibility from all devices”.
