Portman Partners expands senior team

Portman Partners, the global executive search business serving the digital infrastructure sector, has appointed Tony Day as an associate to provide further industry knowledge in helping the search team in identifying the potential senior leadership candidates for the industry’s investors, operators, construction firms, OEMs and technology firms.

Tony has worked as an independent consultant since leaving Schneider Electric in 2019, where he was the former Technical Director at Waterfield Limited – one of the first datacenter design and build companies – in the 1990s, and was responsible for the planning, design and construction of over six million square feet of datacenter facilities across the UK and Europe.

Mike Meyer, Managing Director of Portman Partners, says Tony’s experience will directly support their clients’: “I am delighted to welcome such a well-regarded professional to the team. Tony’s experience and knowledge within the datacenter sector will be invaluable for Portman, broadening our network and knowledge of the industry itself, which will undoubtedly support the team to find the right candidates for our clients”.
