Vertiv names Intec Microsystems as new distributor for the UK and Ireland

Partnership will provide depth of distribution offering to reseller network and comprehensive range of critical infrastructure solutions to customers.

Vertiv has formed a new strategic partnership in the UK and Ireland with Intec Microsystems, a leading IT hardware, software and services distributor. The partnership brings together the expertise of Intec Microsystem’s highly capable sales force across the UK and Ireland and Vertiv’s ever-expanding suite of best-in-class products, solutions, services and asset management hardware and software.

Vertiv’s Partner Programme, combined with the Vertiv Solution Designer product selection tool and a growing partner-focused Marketing Centre resource library, dovetails perfectly with the add-value approach that Intec Microsystems already brings to its reseller network.

In partnering with Intec Microsystems, Vertiv’s evolving channel segment continues to grow and deliver true depth of distribution offering to its expanding reseller partner network. Vertiv provides its partners with the industry’s most comprehensive range of critical infrastructure solutions, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), thermal management systems, power distribution units (PDU) and integrated solutions, backed by best-in-class service offerings, meeting the high technical demands of customers. This is complemented by a partner programme comprising a highly attractive offering, giving partners a dynamic and flexible proposition to bring to their own end-users.

Martin Ryder, channel sales director, Northern Europe at Vertiv, said: “Scaling up our channel business is a strategic priority for Vertiv, not just in the UK but across EMEA and globally. From our first meeting it quickly became apparent that there was a real synergy between Vertiv’s rapidly maturing channel evolution and the collective ambition of the team at Intec Microsystems. We look forward to collaborating with the entire team, working together to add real value to our customers.”

John Lester, sales director at Intec Microsystems, commented: “At Intec, we have long established relationships with all of our customers and we are firmly recognised as trusted advisers. Our depth of expertise exists because we limit the number of vendors we choose to work with. This means we can invest a great deal of focus and attention on what vendors can offer our customers so we can provide a real value-added distributor buying experience. Being able to deliver this approach to selective resellers is something that aligns wholeheartedly with Vertiv’s own critical infrastructure solutions offering, delivering a truly market-leading and comprehensive breadth of products and associated support tools and services.”
