TD SYNNEX France enters into agreement with Object First

Object First offers a storage solution optimised for Veeam solutions, called Ootbi. This appliance offers built-in immutability, making backups ransomware-proof.

TD SYNNEX France announces the signing of a distribution agreement with Object First, the creator of Ootbi (Out-of-the-Box-Immutability), the ransomware-proof backup storage appliance purpose-built for Veeam®. Object First focuses on developing storage systems based on object technology, a storage method that allows large amounts of unstructured data to be managed with high efficiency and reliability.

Ootbi provides secure, simple, and powerful backup storage for Veeam customers, with out-of-the-box immutability and zero access to root. The solution is designed to simplify data management, ensuring data protection against loss, ransomware, and other types of cyber threats. The solution is now available to TD SYNNEX partners in France.

Object First's Ootbi is distinguished by its ease of use, direct integration with Veeam, and high performance. They aim to offer a cost-effective solution for companies of all sizes looking to protect their data efficiently and securely, without the technical complexity often associated with managing storage infrastructures or the need for security expertise.

"The inclusion of Object First into our portfolio of solutions is a natural and important step forward for our partners. This collaboration strengthens our global data protection offering, relying on Veeam, the leader in data management, Wasabi, an expert in object storage in the cloud, and now Object First, a specialist in On-Prem backup storage. TD SYNNEX provides a complete and coherent response to today's data management challenges", said Pascal Murciano, President of TD SYNNEX France and Southern Europe.

“We are thrilled to partner with TD SYNNEX France to bring Ootbi to the French market. With built-in immutability and seamless Veeam integration, Ootbi provides the ultimate protection against ransomware and other cyber threats. Together, we’re helping organisations in France secure their most valuable asset—their data—without compromising on ease of use or performance,” said Pete Hannah, VP Sales, Western Europe.
