Westcon-Comstor has bolstered the leadership team of its Cisco-focused Comstor arm with two key appointments.
Stéphane Reboud joins as Senior Vice President, Comstor Sales, Europe, after more than two decades at Dell Technologies.
Stephane’s most recent role at Dell – which he occupied for five years – involved driving the mid-market business segment globally, mobilising Dell sales teams and channel partner ecosystem to meet customer-specific needs.
Prior to that he led services sales across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for four years and, as Chief of Staff to Dell’s EMEA President, oversaw the integration of software sales following Dell’s $67 billion acquisition of EMC.
At Comstor, his focus will be on leveraging Comstor’s value-added services and expertise across the Cisco portfolio to accelerate growth for partners around Europe.
Stephane is based in France and has a strong international pedigree, having worked in the UK, Netherlands and Hungary as he built his early career in telecoms.
Meanwhile former Cisco executive Steven Heinsius has been appointed Vice President, Product Management and Marketing EMEA, Comstor.
With more than 25 years of experience in the IT distribution and technology sectors, including 14 years at Cisco, Steven will drive the strategic development of Comstor’s product portfolio and go-to-market strategies across EMEA.
As Director of Software Sales EMEA at Cisco, his approach centred on embracing emerging technologies like AI while leveraging software and services in enterprise agreements to fuel continuous growth. Based in the Netherlands, Steven is a certified Cisco Technologies instructor and will utilise his Cisco expertise to unlock new opportunities for partners, Comstor and Cisco.
The appointments follow last week’s announcement that Comstor has secured EMEA distribution rights for Cisco-owned Splunk.
Stephane and Steven are both attending Cisco Live 2025 in Amsterdam, with the latter presenting a session later this week called ‘7 Ways to Fail as a Wireless Expert’, which will focus on the opportunities for partners created by Wi-Fi 7.
“Joining Comstor represents a new chapter in my career, and it’s one that fills me with energy and enthusiasm,” said Stephane Reboud. “My guiding mission during my 20-plus years at Dell has been to facilitate technological innovation and collaboration, striving to be a good listener and a true business partner, ultimately empowering customers through smart decision-making. I am bringing these values and this philosophy to Comstor as we harness our world-leading expertise in all things Cisco to unleash growth across the value chain.”
“Having worked at an end customer, a partner, at Cisco and in distribution, I feel like my journey has come full circle with this new role,” said Steven Heinsius. “I’m passionate about driving innovation and providing superior customer experiences, and joining Comstor at this exciting point in its evolution represents the perfect opportunity to do precisely that. One of my main priorities over the coming months is to enable partners to navigate and capitalise on the opportunities presented by the game-changing Cisco 360 Partner Programme, answering any questions they have and providing tailored support and guidance.”
