Atos secures key European cybersecurity contract

Atos, a global leader in technology, has been awarded a critical EU cybersecurity services contract worth €326M.

Atos, renowned globally for its prowess in AI-powered technology, has successfully secured a key contract under Lot 1 (Technical Operations Services) of the European Commission's CLOUD II Dynamic Purchasing System Mini-Competition 17 for Cybersecurity. With a maximum valuation of €326M, this contract stands as one of the region's most pivotal agreements in the field.

Positioned as the primary partner within the 'cascade' mechanism, Atos aims to deliver crucial cybersecurity services to various European Union institutions, agencies, and bodies. This noteworthy contract exists to enhance professional services pertaining to cloud and information systems, with a focus on operational support, advisory services, and cybersecurity capability enhancement.

Managed by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Digital Services (DG DIGIT), this initiative marks a significant step forward for Atos. Acknowledging this achievement, Punit Sehgal, Head of Atos Belux, Netherlands & Nordics, emphasises that the award reinforces Atos' longstanding reputation for providing secure and resilient digital services across Europe.

The framework agreement, which can be extended for up to four years, specifically includes:

  • Incident Response and Digital Forensics
  • Threat Intelligence and Monitoring
  • Malware Analysis
  • Offensive Security (Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Red Team)

As the primary contractor, Atos, in partnership with Leonardo, a consortium ally, aims to deliver a unique blend of cybersecurity leadership and complementary expertise, ensuring top-tier resilience and operational excellence for the European Commission.
