Westcon-Comstor expands reach with strategic Cato Networks partnership

Westcon-Comstor partners with Cato Networks to expand the SASE market reach, offering a seamless and profitable solution for channel partners globally.

Westcon-Comstor, a global technology provider, has inked a significant agreement with Cato Networks, a leading entity in the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) arena. This collaboration positions Westcon-Comstor as an authorised Cato Networks distributor across Benelux, DACH, Nordics, the Middle East, and Africa.

Under this partnership, channel partners will gain access to a Gartner-recognised, single-vendor SASE solution that promises ease of sale, swift deployment, and profitability. Cato’s offering comes with rapid onboarding processes and eliminates upfront financial commitments, paving the way for lucrative recurring revenue streams and potential upsells.

Further bolstering this alliance, Cato, alongside its channel partners, will benefit from Westcon-Comstor’s analytics-driven sales initiative known as Intelligent Demand (iD). This programme aims to identify new growth opportunities efficiently.

Moreover, partners will enjoy accelerated empowerment through Westcon’s array of value-added services, which include the 3D Lab virtual demo environment, the TechXpert community, and SkillBoost training sessions.

With cybersecurity expertise at its core, Westcon is set to deploy its proficiency and extensive channel network, especially in diverse markets, building upon its success with high-growth security vendors through its Next Generation Solutions (NGS) unit.

Cato Networks' Channel First Partner Program introduces specialised tracks and tiers with a crucial zero upfront financial commitment. The Cato Managed SASE (MSASE) Partner Platform serves as the central framework of this initiative, designed to simplify, accelerate, and scale SASE delivery for partners.

With an impressive customer base exceeding 3,500 globally and annual recurring revenue surpassing $300 million, Cato leads in a market poised to escalate from $7 billion in 2022 to $28.5 billion by 2028. "Cato Networks’ channel-first philosophy aligns perfectly with our mission," noted Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President at Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market.

Mark Draper, Area Vice President of Channel Sales, EMEA at Cato Networks, emphasized their focus on enabling the channel with an easy-to-adopt, profitable, and scalable SASE platform, aiming to simplify market capture and support enterprises moving into the digital era securely and efficiently. Together, Westcon-Comstor and Cato Networks are set to transform the operational dynamics for channel partners.
