Grenzebach Data Center Solutions has announced the release of its Rack Mover, a solution designed for the requirements of high-density data centres. With the increasing use of AI clusters and liquid-cooled GPU systems, demands on data centre infrastructure have grown, contributing to the development of this system.

The Rack Mover is intended to address challenges associated with evolving computing environments, including larger rack formats such as those associated with the Open Compute Project. Drawing on nearly a decade of experience in robotic rack deployment, Grenzebach DCS has updated its system to handle increased weight, complexity, and precision requirements in modern facilities.

This iteration is designed for environments with heavier loads and narrower aisles. It also aims to reduce downtime and support faster deployment processes.

In addition to the Rack Mover, Grenzebach DCS provides a range of automated systems intended to support ergonomics, safety, and operational efficiency. These systems assist with lifting, positioning, transporting, installing, and removing equipment in complex and space-constrained environments.

The systems are designed to support operational continuity, while incorporating ESD safety and traceability features. They are intended for use in hyperscale, GPU cluster, and colocation environments, where precision and risk management are important considerations.

This release reflects Grenzebach DCS’s focus on data centre operations and its approach to developing systems aimed at reliability and safety. The company’s engineering experience contributes to its role in supporting facilities seeking to scale operations and manage infrastructure requirements.
