Alteryx appoints Steve Holsten as new Chief Legal Officer

Alteryx strengthens its leadership team by appointing Steve Holsten as Chief Legal Officer to oversee global legal strategy and support developments in analytics and AI.

Alteryx, a company focused on AI-ready data and analytics, has announced the appointment of Steve Holsten as Chief Legal Officer (CLO). In this role, Holsten will oversee Alteryx’s global legal operations and provide guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management, as well as manage business transactions related to the company’s work in analytics and AI.

Holsten joins Alteryx as a member of the executive leadership team and will work with different departments to support the company’s growth strategy and governance needs as it operates within evolving regulatory and technological environments.

He brings more than three decades of experience in the software industry. His previous roles include legal leadership positions at Workfront and Eloqua, where he was involved in public offerings and corporate acquisitions. Prior to joining Alteryx, Holsten was Chief Legal Officer at a venture capital firm, where he oversaw legal matters across multiple portfolio companies in sectors including AI, software, and professional services.

According to Alteryx CEO Andy MacMillan, Holsten’s experience and collaborative approach will support the company as it continues to manage growth and regulatory change.

Alteryx stated that the appointment is intended to strengthen its legal and governance capabilities as it develops its analytics and AI offerings for business use.
