Epsilon Telecommunications has partnered with ESpanix to expand connectivity between the Iberian Peninsula and international markets. The collaboration is intended to support demand for flexible, low-latency and scalable connectivity services.
The partnership provides access to cloud, data centre and internet exchange network services across the Iberian Peninsula. ESpanix customers can also access Epsilon's global network.
For ESpanix customers in Madrid and Barcelona, the partnership extends access to Epsilon's global network, including connectivity to cloud regions and support for multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures. Epsilon customers can access ESpanix's carrier-neutral network infrastructure through Epsilon's Network as a Service (NaaS) platform, Infiny, enabling remote connectivity to the Iberian interconnection ecosystem.
The Iberian Peninsula is an important interconnection point linking Europe, Africa and the Americas through terrestrial networks and submarine cable systems. Through the partnership, ESpanix can use Epsilon's network to provide low-latency and resilient connectivity between the region and international markets.
The collaboration also enables customers to connect to the ESpanix exchange through Epsilon's Infiny platform. Businesses can provision services remotely and access low-latency connectivity across the region, supporting applications including real-time services and AI workloads.
ESpanix operates interconnection services, data centres and value-added services, including a Tier IV-compliant data centre in Madrid. It also maintains a Point of Presence (PoP) network across Madrid and Barcelona. Its ecosystem includes internet service providers, carriers and content networks that support direct traffic exchange.
Epsilon provides automated network orchestration and routing options through its global backbone, connecting ESpanix's infrastructure with its international network.
