Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team partners with Zscaler for enhanced cybersecurity

Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team teams up with Zscaler to secure data and accelerate development using AI-powered cybersecurity solutions.

Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team has entered into a multi-year partnership with Zscaler, a cybersecurity company focused on AI-era security. As part of the agreement, the team will use Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange platform to help protect digital assets, including car design data and race strategy.

The platform is intended to provide secure connectivity and support data exchange between the track and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team headquarters at the UK-based AMRTC, while helping reduce the risk of unauthorised network access.

Formula One teams operate in a highly data-intensive environment that requires strong cybersecurity. During a race weekend, more than a terabyte of telemetry data can be generated from sensors across the cars. This data is used by engineers working across multiple locations and time zones to support operational and strategic decisions.

Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team and Zscaler both operate in environments where system reliability and secure access to data are important. Through the partnership, the organisations aim to strengthen cybersecurity while supporting the team's operations.

As the team's Global Cybersecurity Partner, Zscaler's branding will appear on the AMR26, including on the nose, seatbelts, wing mirrors, and the drivers' racewear, beginning at the Austrian Grand Prix.

The partnership forms part of Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team's ongoing development programme and supports the team's use of AI-enabled cybersecurity technology as it works towards its competitive objectives.
