Telehouse London wins DCS Data Centre Energy Efficiency Project of the Year Award

Telehouse, a leading global data centre provider, has been named winner in the Data Centre Energy Efficiency Project of the Year category for the 2017 Data Centre Solutions Awards. Telehouse was presented the award for its world class data centre and latest addition to the London Docklands data centre campus Telehouse North Two, at a ceremony held at the Grange St Paul’s hotel in London on Thursday, 18th May.

Rackspace board appoints Joe Eazor as new CEO

Rackspace’s board of directors has appointed technology industry veteran Joe Eazor as the new CEO of Rackspace, effective on June 12. As CEO, Eazor will be responsible for the company's global strategy and operations, spanning the U.S. and the three other continents where Rackspace maintains offices and data centers.

VIRTUS Data Centres has achieved supplier status with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as part of the G-Cloud 9 initiative. Building on the success of the previous G-Cloud 7 listing, this will allow VIRTUS to extend access to its Managed Cloud Connect Infrastructure Service (VMCCI), to central government, local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence and not-for-profit organisations, utilising the G-Cloud framework.
