City Lifeline data centre supports 01 Telecom’s global growth

With the global market for Hosted PBX and Unified Communications services estimated to rapidly grow with 262 million SMB VoIP subscribers in 2015, the central London colocation data centre, City Lifeline has today announced that 01 Telecom has signed a three year contract to expand its network equipment infrastructure into City Lifeline’s London data centre.

Founded in 2009, 01 Telecom delivers a range of hosted Unified Communications services including Hosted PBX to its sole trader, small business and global multi-site international customers. By operating network equipment from City Lifeline’s secure London data centre, 01 Telecom will continue to offer its customers secure and reliable Unified Communications services.

01 Telecom believes that having an effective Unified Communications plan and strategy, deploying the appropriate technology, services and solutions can change any business’ operations and thereby transform the effectiveness of employees’ interactions with customers and suppliers.

Jon Lamont, services manager at 01 Telecom, said: “The benefits of Unified Communications and Hosted PBX are being recognised on a global scale and this has rapidly increased our customer base. To support this growth we turned to City Lifeline, who we knew could comfortably support our requirements. 01 Telecom specialises in designing and implementing tailored solutions to meet specific customer requirements. The City Lifeline team’s rapid turnaround to move our equipment in and City Lifeline’s competitive pricing made it the ideal choice when it came to housing our network equipment, enabling us to continue providing our tailored solutions quickly and easily. We’ll continue to work closely with the team in the London data centre as our business continues its global expansion.”

Roger Keenan, managing director at City Lifeline, said: “01 Telecom’s growing roster of multinational clients demands a data centre that has the flexibility to be able to adapt to, not just their changing requirements, but also the requests of their clients. We’re happy to be able to offer a well-established Unified Communications company like 01 Telecom the rapid turnaround times they needed, also the reliability and resilience that they require to grow their already successful business. “
