InfoSaaS launches its cloud based IT Risk Management software on G-Cloud 6

InfoSaaS Limited has been awarded a position by the Crown Commercial Service to supply its InfoSaaS cloud-based IT risk assessment software to the UK public sector through the UK Government's Digital Marketplace using the latest version of G-Cloud.

With the Government continuing to promote the adoption of cloud services, as well as reminding data owners of the responsibilities that they have to keep their valuable information secure, many public sector organisations are implementing plans to seek formal accreditation against the international Information Security Management System standard ISO27001:2013.

Martin Poole, Head of Security Practice at InfoSaaS commented "We are pleased that our submission to the Digital Marketplace has been successful. The demand for credible and capable services to assist with progression to ISO27001 certification has been increasing significantly, and our innovative InfoSaaS IT risk assessment software is already delivering positive results within a number of sectors".

Poole continues: "Traditionally, the achievement of a properly scoped information security certification has been a challenge for many organisations, often due to the lengthy nature of the preparation and the need to engage specialist resources. At InfoSaaS, we have successfully commoditised many years of practical ISO27001 implementation experience into a user-friendly cloud-based service, which has already helped a number of organisations to successfully realise their information security objectives".

By becoming a supplier to the Digital Marketplace, InfoSaaS will now benefit UK public sector customers through simplified procurement activities, shorter on-boarding windows and cost effective "pay as you go" subscription models. Being cloud-based, there are no hidden costs or complexities associated with the procurement of expensive hardware or software assets. UK customers are swiftly deployed within secure, ISO27001 certified data centres by security cleared personnel, removing risks associated with offshoring or unspecified data protection legislation.

InfoSaaS can conveniently be accessed from any internet connected device, and is compatible with a wide range of devices including tablets and smartphones. Available as a monthly or annual subscription model, without any contractual commitment, InfoSaaS offers potential customers a free no-obligation 30 day trial which allows them o fully explore and evaluate the service's extensive functionality for themselves.
