Cyber Defence for SMEs utilizes AlienVault’s Unified Security Management (USM) platform, which is powered by up-to-the-minute threat intelligence from AlienVault Labs and Open Threat Exchange – the world’s largest crowd-sourced collaborative threat repository. The AlienVault USM platform is also part of a comprehensive security system known as the Next Generation Security Operations Centre, which is where Deutsche Telekom monitors activities in the SOC to analyze and deal with attacks, while also hosting platform operations at the same time.
T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom had noticed that its mid-market customers were struggling with the same issues that plague larger enterprises when it comes to identifying, prioritizing and remediating the most important security threats, but with significantly less budget to allocate to the problem.
