Proact to deliver new IT infrastructure to SBAB

Proact has been chosen to supply a new IT infrastructure system including, deployment services, consulting and 24x7 premium support to the housing loan company SBAB. This has considerably greater capacity and higher performance than the previous solution which it replaces at the company’s data centre. This system will primarily be used for internal file storage and for the development and testing environment.

One advantage of the new solution is that it has integrated backup. It also provides enhanced disaster recovery as the secondary storage function can be used as a fallback system in the event of a failure. This upgrade does not include SBAB’s business systems, which are mainly managed by external operations suppliers.
“Our new storage solution means we will not have to invest in special backup products, and management will also be more straightforward. This was not a difficult choice to make, because we have good experience of working with Proact and we really appreciate their expert technical support,” says Lars-Erik Eriksson, who works with IT operations at SBAB.

“It is pleasing to see the ongoing trust placed in us by SBAB, which has long been an important customer with stringent demands. The strength of our offering is based on knowledge and long-term partnerships with both customers and our strategic partners,” says Lena Eskilsson, regional manager at Proact.
