With Verizon’s new global Collaboration portfolio capabilities, enterprises can take workforce productivity to the next level by providing a seamless and instant collaboration experience for clients, partners, suppliers and employees through the introduction of additional rich conferencing and mobile collaboration tools based on Cisco WebEx Cloud Connected Audio, Collaboration Meeting Room and Verizon’s  UCCaaS Mobile First service.

Each of Verizon’s new leading capabilities brings simplicity and convenience to enterprise users, essentially providing an ‘office- in-the-cloud’ solution that can be customized to meet the work and lifestyle habits of the user.  All solutions are immediately available.

“The rise of the mobile enterprise and necessity for voice, video and collaboration anywhere, at any time, requires solutions which can provide a seamless high-quality experience that doesn’t distinguish between working in an office, from home or on the road,” said Tony Recine, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Enterprise Solutions. “With Verizon’s cloud-based Collaboration Suite, Verizon is putting all the right tools in place to provide a simple, secure and reliable experience for corporate workers when meeting and collaborating with colleagues, partners and customers.”

According to The Hyper-Connected Workforce from Harvard Business Analytics Service, sponsored by Verizon, today’s employees want the high-tech, highly collaborative experience they get in their personal lives to carry over into the office.

The report found that digitally connected communications, collaboration and other mobile and remote work practices are having an overwhelmingly positive impact on organizations today.

In fact, 53 percent of business leaders from diverse industries around the globe say their connected work has increased significantly over the past three years. And, 51 percent of these leaders say it’s a high priority or absolutely essential that the trend continues.

UCCaaS Mobile First Boosts User Video and Voice Experiences
Verizon is rolling out UCCaaS Mobile First, an advanced collaboration solution based on Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution.  It is ideal for an increasingly mobile workforce that offers end-users the ability to boost the audio and video performance of the Cisco Jabber mobile unified communications client application on Verizon’s 4G LTE network for a high quality experience.

Cisco Jabber enables users to make and receive voice and HD video calls and access other tools such as instant messaging and WebEx conferencing on their preferred device, whether it is a smartphone, tablet, PC or MAC.

By leveraging Verizon UCCaaS in conjunction with Verizon’s Private Network Traffic Management solution, which offers the industry’s first quality of service capability over 4G LTE, workers can benefit from prioritized voice and video calls when using the Cisco Jabber client from select 4G LTE smartphones and tablets for reliable connectivity and enhanced productivity when mobile in the United States.

Cisco WebEx Cloud Connected Audio, Collaboration Meeting Rooms Deliver Higher Value to Enterprises with a Customer-First Experience
Verizon is enabling a more cost-effective conferencing solution through Cisco WebEx with Cloud Connected Audio and Collaboration Meeting Rooms – two easy and convenient features that enable more functionality to give enterprises an “any device” solution in more than 150 countries and 2,700 cities worldwide.

Cloud Connected Audio enables enterprises to better budget use of conferencing services with an at-the-ready solution that allows users, both inside and outside the company, to connect via an audio bridge. It also provides additional tools that offer better control to users so they can integrate the visual and audio components to enhance the overall end-user experience.

In addition, Verizon delivers an integrated platform and dedicated Verizon/Cisco data-center connectivity with the ability to easily expand and add new sites as business conditions dictate.

With Cisco Collaboration Meeting Rooms, corporate users can take advantage of a personalized, 24x7 collaboration meeting resource to meet at an instance’s notice with a simple click. Benefits of this solution include:
·       Simple: Easy controls to create, launch and join meetings including from Cisco Jabber
·       Scalable: Connect up to 1,025 concurrent participants in a single meeting
·       Global Reach: Global reach with consistent quality across the Americas, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region
·       Flexible: A monthly subscription fee allows for business agility
·       Ability to Connect Easily: Users can connect in a variety of ways including within the enterprise and with customers and partners from any device.

“Verizon continues to be a key strategic partner focused on delivering cloud collaboration solutions to our mutual customers and is now raising the bar even higher with these new capabilities,” said Pat Romzek, vice president, Worldwide Sales Cloud Strategy and Enablement at Cisco.  “Verizon’s trio of new features is a strong differentiator for the market that will help to deliver on the promise of voice, data and video collaboration ‘everywhere’ and workplace productivity from ‘anywhere’.”
