Apcera delivers a trusted cloud platform that lets enterprise IT securely develop, deploy, orchestrate and govern diverse workloads across multiple cloud providers as well as on-premises infrastructure. With increasing customer momentum over the past six months, Apcera now works with a growing number of forward-thinking global 2000 customers.
The company was founded by former Google and VMWare executive Derek Collison in 2012 with the aim of empowering enterprise IT with a next-generation cloud platform that integrates policy and security from the start. The unique policy and governance capabilities of the Apcera platform enable enterprises to innovate at scale with the assurance that their infrastructure is safe and secure.
"The opening of our London office is a significant milestone in our growing international operations. We're seeing strong demand for our platform from a range of European-based enterprises. By establishing a local presence we'll be able to target new prospects and better serve our existing European customers," said Derek Collison, founder and CEO, Apcera.
Apcera has an increasing presence in Europe as part of Ericsson's strategic investment in the company. Apcera recently announced that Cygate, a part of TeliaSonera Sweden and a leading provider of secure network and data center services in the Nordic countries, has chosen Ericsson's Cloud Platform, powered by Apcera, to be part of its cloud offering.
"Apcera is uniquely suited to address the growing demand from enterprises across EMEA for a cloud solution that can navigate the region's complex IT environments. With policy built in from the start, the Apcera platform enables enterprise IT to securely deploy, orchestrate and govern all workloads across any infrastructure while saving money and improving efficiency," added Collison.
