CenturyLink appoints Richard Warley to vice president of international sales

New role expands Warley’s responsibilities as managing director for EMEA.

CenturyLink has appointed Richard Warley as vice president of international sales, complementing his current role as managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations. Warley’s remit expands to include leading sales functions for CenturyLink across EMEA, Asia Pacific and Canada.
 
“Since joining CenturyLink last April, Richard has brought great discipline, oversight and success to our business in EMEA,” says Norm Korey, senior vice president of global markets, CenturyLink. “He has a passion for our customers, along with a deep understanding of the international landscape and our sales portfolio. Richard’s leadership will serve us well as we continue to sharpen our focus on growing our business.”
 
Gery Messer, managing director, Asia Pacific, and Ash Mathur, country manager, Canada and their teams will report to Warley.
 
Warley joined CenturyLink in April 2015, and previously served as CEO of IPsoft. Beforehand, he served as CEO of KVH, a Tokyo-based company specialising in data centre, cloud, network and IT services. Prior to KVH, Warley held senior roles at Savvis between 2000 and 2008, including the position of international managing director.
