Hybrid solution makes financial sense

Leading independent data centre and cloud service provider Proact has partnered with financial consulting firm FCG to host key elements of its environment and to offer end-user support.

Founded in Sweden in 2008, FCG has seen significant growth over recent years and now has four offices across three Nordic countries. To support its workforce of 150 staff, FCG has always relied on external partners to provision IT services. Prior to its engagement with Proact, the firm worked with various service partners to lease hardware, for end-user support, and to use public cloud resources.

Thanks to Proact’s wide-ranging capabilities FCG now has one point of contact for all IT projects and concerns. Going forward, IT infrastructure is being delivered ‘as a service’ using the Proact Hybrid Cloud. Furthermore, Proact has helped FCG migrate to Office 365 to enable better collaboration across the organisation.

“There was no doubt that Proact stood out among the invited suppliers. We trusted them from the start, and that impression was reinforced by their formal offer. We also saw financial benefits with Proact’s proposal as it indicated lower migration costs.” - Magnus Nelding, IT security expert FCG
