Cloud environments are the backbone of digital transformation programs. TietoEVRY’s experience from years of customer engagements shows that by using cloud, organizations can increase their business agility with up to 70% faster time to market, achieve total cost of operations reduction of up to 30-40% overtime, and achieve superior levels of operational resiliency and security.

Both TietoEVRY and Microsoft have a strong presence in the Nordic enterprise, SME and public sector. Together the companies can address Nordic customers’ cloud transformation with the optimal combination of public and hybrid cloud services. The growing abundance of data and data-driven business opportunities require in-depth industry and local market expertise. TietoEVRY’s strong know-how in Nordic customers’ regulatory and business requirements and Microsoft Azure’s broad scale of services and continuous innovation bring customers more scalability, agility and speed.

TietoEVRY will also focus on making majority of its industry software assets cloud ready on Azure, to enable faster value creation and time to market for its customers. Combined with the intelligence of the cloud, this enables continued development of industry-specific solutions as well as increased innovation.

In addition to bringing together the best technology and business advisory capabilities, the companies will increase the scale of their efforts with a cloud certification program for 3,000 TietoEVRY professionals.

“We’re extremely excited about this partnership,” says Kimmo Alkio, President and CEO, TietoEVRY. “Our joint global cloud capabilities and Nordic presence enable us to bring our customers significant benefits in the form of more scalability, greater reliability, increased innovation capabilities and advanced security. Combining the best of Microsoft’s and our expertise we can accelerate our customers’ multi-cloud transformation and by this advance the digital transformation across the Nordic societies. The competence development program for certifying thousands of Microsoft Azure professionals at TietoEVRY, offers great learning opportunities for our professionals – and enables us creating the largest cloud talent hub in the region.”
