Hyland has deepened its partnership with the University College London Hospitals (UCLH), which has adopted Hyland’s Enterprise Imaging SaaS solution.

UCLH, one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts, consists of 10 hospitals with nearly 12,000 staff members who serve more than 1 million patients per year. UCLH and Hyland have worked closely together since 2017, when UCLH chose Hyland’s OnBase as its enterprise content services platform due to its ability to integrate content, data and processes, and provide seamless interoperability with Epic workflows.

That interoperability is vital, driving clinical efficiencies and minimising disruptions in care and workflows. Advantages include consolidation of multiple image repositories and a holistic view of all medical imaging content and information, leading to reduced costs and image collaboration in a secure platform. UCLH also will be relieved of the burden of application software and hardware management.

“We look forward to continuing our partnership with UCLH and contribute to helping the organisation achieve enterprise-wide interoperability,” said Jamey Baszuk, Hyland’s AVP of international healthcare sales. “We’re excited to support UCLH with eliminating imaging silos to help deliver improved patient care and outcomes. UCLH staff can centrally manage and consolidate all disparate medical images and content in our private cloud.”
