Object unveils enhanced Partner Program

New tools help partners drive revenue growth, improve customer satisfaction, and reach new customers with the best storage for Veeam.

Object First has introduced enhancements to its Partner Program to offer tools that deliver shared value for partners, customers, and the company. These updates aim to enhance revenue streams, increase customer satisfaction, and fortify enterprise backup security through the implementation of Ootbi, a secure, simple, and powerful backup storage solution for Veeam’s 450,000 customers.

Ransomware threats are increasing, and Veeam reports that 93% of attacks explicitly target backups. Built on a 100% channel model, Object First created its Partner Program to help resellers meet the rising demand for a backup solution for Veeam that is immutable out-of-the-box and doesn’t require security expertise. Over the past year, Object First expanded into LATAM and EMEA markets and achieved over 200% bookings growth. To support its rapid expansion, Object First is expanding its Partner Program offerings to deliver new benefits that enable partners to thrive in a fast-growing market.

Marketing Development Funds (MDF)

Marketing Development Funds are now available for partners within Object First’s Gold and Platinum tiers who wish to co-invest with Object First and generate opportunities among their Veeam customers and prospects. These resources empower partners to enhance their sales and marketing efforts, creating shared visibility through a range of funded initiatives like events, webinars, advertising, and more.

“As a 100% channel company, we believe in the power of partnership. We’re fully devoted to giving our partners the support and resources they need to succeed,” said David Bennett, CEO, Object First. “We empower them through sales and technical enablement, marketing investment, and our top-notch immutable backup storage solution tailored for Veeam customers. We’re excited to continue innovating our Partner Program to create lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.”

In addition to MDF, Object First continues to offer other incentives to further reward success and drive even greater profitability, including deal registration. Partners are compensated with discounts for identifying and referring potential customers. This program is designed to provide additional margin protection and profitability for partners and reward driving customer relationships.

“Organizations depend on Veeam to keep their data safe from any ransomware or cyber-attack,” said Larissa Crandall, Vice President of Global Channel and Alliances at Veeam. “By pairing Veeam Data Platform with Object First’s Ootbi, partners can help ensure businesses, regardless of size, can make their data immutable and guarantee recovery from growing ransomware attacks on backups.”

“In today’s rising threat landscape, IT leaders are quickly discovering that Object First’s immutable backup storage and its seamless Veeam integration is the real deal to ransomware-proof their organizations’ data,” said Scott Lillis, President & CEO at The Lillis Technology Group. “The introduction of MDF not only demonstrates Object First's commitment to supporting its partners but also provides us with the tools and resources needed to better serve our customers and drive growth in this critical market."
